Cleveland Browns Hire Former NFL GM Ryan Grigson

The Cleveland Browns hired Ryan Grigson as a Senior Football Advisor, reuniting him with General Manager Andrew Berry.

What happened?

Grigson previously worked with the Browns in 2017 and 2020-21, and most recently served as Senior Vice President for Player Personnel with the Minnesota Vikings from 2022 to 2024.

He worked alongside Berry in Indianapolis from 2012-16, where Berry was a member of the Colts’ scouting department.

Why it matters for Cleveland Browns

The hiring comes as the Browns look to improve their standing, currently 7th in the National Football Conference with a 9-7-1 record, on a L4 streak.

The team is set to face the Jacksonville Jaguars on September 13, 2026.

Grigson's experience and familiarity with Berry make him a valuable addition to the front office.

What comes next?

The Browns will look to Grigson to provide guidance and support in their efforts to turn the team around.

With Grigson on board, the Browns are hoping to end their losing streak and make a push for the playoffs.

The team's next game against the Jaguars will be a crucial test of their abilities.

The Browns are currently preparing for the upcoming season, with Grigson's input expected to play a key role in their strategy.
